Matthew 17 : 1~9


    The Transfiguration of the Lord Jesus Christ. An event that took place on a mountain. The face of the Lord Jesus shone with light. His clothes were white as snow, and Messiah and Elijah appeared beside him and spoke to him.

    All of a sudden a bright cloud surrounded them. And out of the cloud came the voice of the Father, saying, 'This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well-pleased: obey him'.


    This event reveals the divinity of the Lord Jesus and the sanction of the Father. The light and garments of the Lord Jesus are white as snow, showing that He is the only begotten Son of God and has the glory of divinity. The appearance of Messiah and Elijah beside Jesus represents the representatives of the great prophets of the Old Testament and the recognition of the Law. This event also heralds the glory and salvation of the Lord Jesus, and at the same time the suffering and death he will face.


    The transfiguration of Jesus shows the divinity and glory of the Lord Jesus. It is also considered an important spiritual experience that can deepen Christians' faith and love for the Lord Jesus and help them face life's sufferings and challenges. His glory and salvation were also heralded by the event. To face the sufferings and challenges of life, Christians are reminded to rely on the Lord Jesus.

  兩任教宗擁抱、互相問好的照片，這是很少機會見到的。      教宗方濟各於 2016 年 11 月 13 日，任命香港教區輔理主教楊鳴章神父，為香港教區助理主教。非天主教徒對於主教一職的認知，可能只限於是該地區的信仰主理人、管理者等等，但對於主教的意義和不同稱謂的主教，仍未有確實的了解；根據初期天主教教會的傳統，祝聖主教是代表授予聖職聖事的圓滿性。主教即是藉著聖神  (Holy Spirit)  被祝聖為教會中的牧人及管理者，也就是講解教義的導師及基督的司祭。主教一詞源自希臘文「 episkopos 」（ επίσκοπος ），即「 epi 」（由上往下）及「 skopos 」（觀察者），其意思是監督（ overseer ），主教一職不單單只是指天主教會對高級神職的稱號，打從第一世紀末至第二世紀初就形成了這個主教的制度。而東正教與聖公會均會採用，天主教會指耶穌基督派遣宗徒們繼續實行祂傳播福音的使命。 第 267 任教宗   Francis   方濟各  2013~      對天主教而言，教省通常聯合數個教區為一個教省，每一個教省由一位總主教所領導，而教區的定義就是地方教會機構，由教區主教所管轄，堂區則是每一個聖堂所屬的範圍，每個堂區都會有一位所屬的神職人員去管理；有些國家於其國內至少會有一個教省，而領土較大、天主教徒也有一定數量的國家，如美國、中國、法國等等，都會設有多個教省。也有部分教區不隸屬於任何教省，而是由教廷直接管轄。這就是天主教對於傳教牧民地域概念，主教的職務分配就是天主教會傳統聖統制的一部份。在公元 4 世紀，天主教成為羅馬帝國的國教，當時神職人員的地位與當地地方行政官員擁有政府認可的相等地位，所以教會便以羅馬帝國的「管區」（拉丁語： dioecesis ）為基礎，建立起與政治管轄區的行政區，並以主教做為最高首長，作傳教和牧養信眾的教會行政架構，及後西羅馬帝國滅亡後，這種教會行政區便保存了下來，成為教區制度延續至今。 第 266 任教宗   Benedict XVI   本篤十六世   2005~2013     1841 年，因當時駐港英軍...

God loves us very much! He loves us with a love that never ends. God loves us so much that He was willing to give His special and only Son, Jesus Christ, to save us and give us eternal life. Jesus Christ is God's special Son who came to the world to be our Savior. He is very important and powerful because He has a special place and authority from God. Believing in Jesus is very important. It is the key to having eternal life. Everyone who believes in Jesus Christ will have everlasting life and won't be lost. This means we need to trust in Jesus, accept Him as our Savior, and we will receive eternal life. The Bible also tells us that those who don't believe in Jesus are in trouble.      In John 4:21, Jesus meets a Samaritan woman at Jacob's well and tells her that true worship is not about a particular place, but about the state of one's heart and relationship with God. This was a new concept as Judaism emphasised worshipping God in the Jerusalem Temple. Jesus transcends the boundaries of race and gender, indicating that everyone has the opportunity to have an intimate relationship with God. This emphasises the nature of true worship and infinite love.     In the Bible, women are used as a contrast to men, reflecting God's wisdom and beauty in creation. Women are also often used to represent the church, while men represent Christ. Women can also symbolise qualities of faith, piety and purity, as well as the fragility and limitations of humanity.
